Remember Wildlife.org
Charities

Being charitable helps our world survive.  Too often our wildlife is forgotten when time and donations are given.  Sadly we are losing more and more wildlife as habitat destruction and bad personal decisions continue to spiral out of control.

YOU can help.  Give time, money, fundraise, or simply raise your voice.  Knowledge is power!  Simply by learning and sharing your knowledge with others makes a big difference.  Speak up, sign a petition, and don’t buy goods that result in harm.
(Check out the For You Tab) YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Pick a charity where all of the donations go to the cause, not the people running it or lavish advertising gimmicks.

Pick a cause you believe in. It is so much easier to help.
If you believe in what you are doing others will believe you. It is ok to have a favorite.

Listed are all my favorite charities with causes I believe in.  I spend the majority of my time helping Wildlife Warriors but do my best to make sure the others are never forgotten.  It is a shame that so many of these are needed.  If you don’t see one you like do a simple internet search based on area, animal, cause, etc.  There is need in every area around the world.  Domestic and Wild Animals.

Wildlife warriors  USA:
Whale Conservation

Terri Irwin has made an international plea to stop whaling by supporting
different projects that will study whales in our oceans. Funds raised through
Wildlife Warriors Worldwide USA will support whale conservation. One such
project, lead by Dr. Bruce Mate, Director of the Oregon State University
Marine Mammal Institute, will determine whale populations and track whale
movements including timing, route and rate of speed for their migrations
back to their breeding areas. Tagging and tracking of whales is a non-lethal
approach to whale research. This and other ground breaking research will
uncover the secrets of these whales so we can learn how to save them.

http://www.internationalcrocodilerescue.com.au/about_rescue_unit/index.html   Crocodiles

If a crocodile or group of crocodiles is confirmed as a bone fide nuisance or threat, the ICR jumps into action. The ICR crew will liaise with local rangers to ensure a positive outcome for both the crocodiles and the people concerned. Trapping and removing large problem crocodiles is only half the battle. If and when they need to be captured and/or removed, the people most concerned with the presence of the crocodile will be involved, thus addressing the core issue of the problem. Once you've met a large Saltwater Crocodile it is impossible to ignore the power and beauty it possesses. Situations can lead from fear and hatred to absolute awe and pride. More often than not the very people who requested the animal to be removed want it to be returned - the perfect scenario!!

Money is nice but knowledge makes a big difference.
Know the facts.
Don't be afraid to speak up for the animals;
they can't ask us to help.
Be smart.
Be powerful.
YOU can make a difference!

A small California facility located in Topanga.

The Nature of Wildworks has a two-fold mission. One is to
provide lifelong quality care for non-releasable wild animals.
This means plenty of love and attention.
Secondly, The
Nature of Wildworks strives to build public respect and
concern for native wildlife and the California environment
through student programs and public events.

Habitat destruction, poaching and human-wildlife conflict are just
some of the factors quickly driving this magnificent great ape to
extinction. Coltan is a rare mineral that is used in the production
of electronic devices, including mobile phones. Unfortunately, most
of the world’s coltan reserves are found in the
same region as
gorillas. The mining for this rare mineral is destroying their last
remaining habitat as well as contributing to the civil unrest in the
region, which has lead to the suffering of millions of people.

http://redapes.org/index.php  Orangutans

One of the most in need, Orangutans will be extinct in our
lifetime if we don't do something NOW! Palm oil production
(please read details under For You tab), illegal pet trade, and
quickly disappearing habitat is distroying these gentle giants
at an alarming rate.  Slow to reproduce, the orangutans are
harmless vegetarians being wiped out by human greed. Don't
buy Palm Oil products! Check out The Red Ape website,
get informed, and see how you can help.

There is "market-research" being gathered to show what people
think about the palm oil issue. Girl Scout cookies are full of
palm oil and this will show them we don't want it. Make a
difference; take a minute or two to take the online survey. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=OIajgqEcWgATq27Klr_2bQkg_3d_3d

Sumatran Tigers

http://www.tigertrust.info/sumatran_tiger_home.asp

There are less than 400 Sumatran Tigers left in the wild today. They are Critically Endangered. The Sumatran Tiger Conservation Programme is the largest conservation programme for tigers in Indonesia and extremely active in the wild....
We don't just talk about it... we do it!
